The New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness

The New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness THE NEW MEXICO COALITION TO END HOMELESSNESS is a statewide membership organization committed to developing long-term solutions to homelessness. The coalition works with 70 member organizations throughout the state to advocate for policy changes at the local, state and federal level and to support the implementation of best practices. NMCEH also coordinates the federal Continuum of Care process, manages the New Mexico Homeless Management Information System, manages the statewide coordinated assessment system and works to raise public awareness about homelessness. www.nmceh.org

Habitat for Humanity of New Mexico

Habitat for Humanity of New Mexico HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF NEW MEXICO operates in 16 communities throughout the state. Its mission is to build, repair and rehabilitate homes for low-income families who typically earn less than 50 percent of the Area Median Income. Homes are built and rehabilitated using volunteer labor, and new homeowners have access to interest-free mortgages. In its 27 years of operation, Habitat for Humanity of New Mexico has built more than 650 new homes in the state and repaired and rehabilitated hundreds more.
